A well-known angling spot on the remains of the old Port Shepstone harbour wall at the Umzimkulu River mouth, beside the lighthouse. The estuary is a fish nursery, and anglers report ox-eye tarpon, kingfish and river snapper. Check sea and river conditions before you go.
